2025 APEC Youth Engagement Workshop: Connectivity, Partnership, and Opportunities
Brilian Bintang Andalan Selected and Funded by APEC for 2025 Youth Engagement Workshop

The Department of Chemical Engineering, Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya (UKWMS), proudly celebrates the achievement of Brilian Bintang Andalan, a student of the International Bachelor Program (IBP), who has been selected to represent Indonesia in the 2025 APEC Youth Engagement Workshop: Connectivity, Partnership, and Opportunities—and will be fully funded by APEC to participate in the program.

This prestigious Asia-Pacific initiative brings together outstanding youth leaders for a two-day immersive workshop designed to strengthen public speaking, critical thinking, and intercultural communication. Participants will collaborate with experts and peers from across the region to address global issues through hands-on, language-based learning experiences inspired by real-world communication settings.

Brilian’s selection is a testament to his dedication and the global vision of the IBP program in Chemical Engineering at UKWMS, which prepares students to engage confidently in international collaboration and leadership. His achievement not only brings pride to UKWMS, but also encourages fellow students to seize international opportunities, embrace global challenges, and step forward as the next generation of changemakers.
