Mata kuliah ini mempelajari dasar-dasar perancangan tangki atau vessel, alat penukar panas, dan menara-menara pemisah khususnya absorber, kolom distilasi/fraksinasi dan ekstraksi.

Topik Bahasan
1. Bejana (bejana penyimpan (gas, cairan, padatan), bejana tekan (internal dan eksternal), bejana tegak tinggi, pressure vessel code, desain mekanis)
2. Alat penukar panas (double pipe, shell and tube, plate and spiral heat exchanger, condenser & reboiler, jaket, dan koil, furnace)
3. Perancangan menara/kolom pemisah (packed column, plate column, sieve and tray column)
